Irreversible

emotion is any strong feeling.

During the film irreversible i felt many different feelings. The strongest feeling that i felt was disgust, at this point i couldnt watch the scene. I felt this feeling as the scene was so intense and we was made too feel as if we was actually there watching but could not help the women. I also felt shocked at the way the guy killed the other man with a fire extinguisher, which came after a chase scene. I also felt happy at the end of the film when we reaslised that the women was pregnant but then sad as we knew what was going to happen in her life.

For Mrs Raji- Narrative Story and Narrative Plot

Narrative story ~ in its broadest sense is anything told or recounted, more narrowly, and more usually, something told or recounted in the form of a casually-linked set of events; account; tale,: the telling of a happening or connected series of happenings. wether true or fictitious.

For Mrs Raji- Vladimir Propp's Structure To The Descent

Vladimir Propp's Structure Apllied To The Descent;

• The villian = The Crawlers
• The donor = The Previous Cavers who are unkown
• The magical helper = Juno, Beth, Sam and Rebecca
• Princess and her father = the princess is the daughter and the father can not be distinguinshed
• Dispatcher = Juno as she was the one that lead them to the cave and also Sarah as she sends them off to do jobs
• Hero = Sarah as she is innocnet and ends up with her daughter
• False hero = Juno, as she lies about killing Beth (her mate) and blames it on the Crawlers.

I found applying Propp's structure to the Descent was difficult.

For Mrs Raji- Vladimir Propp

Vladimir Propp -He found that characters should be defined into seven main types;

• The Villian


• The Donor- prepares hero


• The Helper- helps the hero


• The Princess and her father- gives tasks, hero marries princess


• The Dispatcher- sends hero off, gives info


• The Hero


• The Fake Hero - tries to marry princess, takes credit for the heros actions

I have chosen the final destination 2 as my final film, this is because i feel that it has a lot too talk about in the sequence i chose. The micro features i have chosen are sound and mise-en-scene.
